Mindful Hour Classes

Mindful Hour Classes are an opportunity to practise mindfulness in a friendly and relaxed manner with a group of like-minded people.  If you have never tried mindfulness before, this is an excellent taster class to see what it is all about with a view to going on to attend an 8 Week Mindfulness Course to learn the foundations of mindfulness.  If you have completed an 8 Week Mindfulness Course or you have experience with regular meditation, the Mindful Hour Classes are a way to regularly sustain your mindfulness practise within a group or a chance to drop in every now and again when you need a boost to your home practise.

Mindful Hour classes are not a course so you can attend one or two or book to attend a block of classes.  You will benefit from whatever practise you do however you will derive the most benefit from building a regular mindfulness habit, whether this be with regular classes or taking a class to support your regular home practise.

Each class will follow a similar format including:

If you are brand new to mindfulness, please arrive 15 minutes early for a short talk about what mindfulness is.  After this the Mindful Hour will consist of:

5 minute introductions
10 minute opening mindfulness practice
10 minutes questions and discussion (no need to say anything unless you would like to)
25 minute mindfulness practice
10 minute discussion and closing of Mindful Hour

Classes are limited to 12 people.
