Mindful Yoga

Studio Classes not currently running due to COVID-19

Mindful yoga is a slow, explorative and therapeutic class.  It is a mix of the slower styles of Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra and the combination of traditional yoga postures with mindful breath focused movement. Using alignment-based postures we will focus on connecting breath to movement, to find balance and ease within the body. We will also at times include somatic movement, a small amount of free movement, pranayama and meditation, and always of course ending in relaxation!  All welcome but especially suitable for those new to yoga, or after having had a break.

Emerging research is now beginning to show how slower and more mindful forms of yoga such as yin/restorative/yoga nidra, have been found to help;
reduce and improve fatigue/exhaustion

Slow, mindful yoga can also support your nervous system to build resilience, adapt more easily to stressors, develop patience, and improve overall health and wellbeing.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat!
